Broad Haven Cottages by the Sea

Choose from 37 self-catering holiday homes in Broad Haven

Broad Haven is a small seaside village on the west Pembrokeshire coast, overlooking St Brides Bay. Its long sandy beach is the main attraction, with plenty of space at low tide and cafés, pubs and shops close to the seafront. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path passes through the village, while neighbouring Little Haven can be reached on foot along the beach when the tide allows. Newgale, Solva and other parts of the Pembrokeshire coast are also within easy reach.

Little Haven and the Coast Around St Brides Bay

Little Haven is just south of Broad Haven and is easy to visit during your stay. At low tide you can walk between the two villages along the beach, passing The Settlands on the way. The tide can cut off this route, so check the times before setting out.

Little Haven has a small sandy and rocky cove, pubs and cafés around the village. If you want to stay closer to this end of the bay, our Little Haven beach cottages give you another base for exploring the area.

The Coast Path continues south from Little Haven towards St Brides and Marloes. The official Broad Haven to Martin’s Haven section covers 11 miles and is steep in places, but you can easily follow a shorter stretch before returning to the village.

Newgale, Solva and More of the Pembrokeshire Coast

Head north from Broad Haven and the Coast Path eventually reaches Newgale, with its long beach stretching for more than two miles. The official Solva to Broad Haven section is 12 miles in total and passes through Newgale, Nolton Haven and other smaller bays along the way.

Our Newgale beach cottages are worth exploring if you want to stay close to this larger stretch of sand, while Solva coastal cottages put you near the village’s harbour and the northern end of the same Coast Path section.

Broad Haven also works well for exploring further around Pembrokeshire by car. St Davids lies to the north, while Tenby and Saundersfoot can be reached by heading towards the south of the county.
