Caswell Bay, Pwll Du and Coastal Walks

Caswell Bay is one of the closest sandy beaches to Bishopston, with a wide shoreline surrounded by cliffs and woodland. The beach has cafés, public toilets and parking, and is popular for surfing and family days out.

Further along the coast, Pwll Du is a secluded pebble beach reached on foot through Bishopston Valley or along the coastal path. The National Trust manages the surrounding woodland and cliffs, where visitors can explore the remains of old limestone quarries.

Nearby Brandy Cove is another small bay reached by a steep coastal path. The surrounding cliffs provide walking routes with views across the Bristol Channel.
