This spacious five-bedroom holiday home sits above Mawgan Porth on the North Cornwall coast, with sweeping views across the bay and out to sea. With a garden and terrace overlooking the water, the property is well placed for families and groups of friends seeking a surf-and-sand holiday together. Mawgan Porth Beach is just half a mile away – offering a stretch of white sand with surf and a trickling river where children can paddle. The South West Coast Path runs along the headland, connecting to Watergate Bay (2.5 miles) and Bedruthan Steps (2 miles), where far-reaching panoramas open up along the coastline. A surf school operates from the beachfront, alongside a pitch-and-putt course set near a historic Iron Age site. The village has cafes, a pub, and a handful of shops.

Arranged over two floors, the upper level of this chic retreat is reached through a large porch and hallway, with space for coats and sandy shoes. The open-plan sitting room has a corner sofa, a separate three-seater, and a roaring wood burner – with floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding doors onto the ocean-view balcony. The dining area seats ten alongside the kitchen, and a study nearby provides desk space with additional seating. The first floor master bedroom has a super-king-size bed and bi-folding doors opening to sea views; it’s en-suite bathroom has a deep spa bath and a walk-in rainfall shower. The second bedroom has a king-size bed and sea views, with an en-suite shower room featuring a rainfall shower. The third bedroom has twin beds which can be converted into a super-king-size bed on request. A first-floor family bathroom completes this level, with a bath and separate shower. On the ground floor has one flexible super-king-size bedroom which can be converted to twins on request, while the final room offers a king-size bed and garden views. A ground-floor family bathroom has a shower over the bath, with a separate cloakroom providing an additional WC. A dedicated children's room with a Smart TV, bean bags, and table tennis opens directly onto the rear garden.

The front-facing balcony has a rattan corner sofa, a long table with eight chairs, and a charcoal BBQ for al fresco dining – with sea views as your backdrop. The rear garden is enclosed, with a large terrace furnished with sun loungers and outdoor bean bags. An outdoor shower and secure storage for wetsuits and beach gear sit at ground level. Parking is on-street for two cars.
