The vibrant seaside resort of Bude is just 4 miles away and has a great range of cosy pubs, cute cafes, and gift shops to potter around. The town's main beach is home to Bude's famous sea pool, and there are some truly spectacular clifftop paths to explore, boasting dramatic coastal scenery. Take a trip to the cliffside village of Clovelly, soak up the mystical atmosphere at Tintagel Castle (both 18 miles), or enjoy water sports at Tamar Lakes (10 miles).

At one end is a sleek kitchen area with glossy units, a breakfast bar, and all the equipment needed to whip up home-cooked feasts for the group. Share dinners together around the dining table, or head outside to the patio on balmy evenings. After a day at the coast, snuggle up on the plump seating in the lounge area to read or watch TV. To the rear of the rural bolthole, you'll find two inviting bedrooms – a king-size and a twin – along with a stylish wet room. Underfloor heating throughout keeps everyone cosy during the colder months.

Outside, the enclosed garden boasts a sunny patio area with furniture for al fresco dining and a bubbling hot tub – perfect for reviving weary limbs after an action-packed day. Beyond this is a lawn where children can play, and completing the space is a handy outdoor shower for rinsing off after the beach or a dip in the hot tub. The property has private parking for two cars.
