Spend a fun-filled day navigating the mazes and racing go-karts at Southwold Maize Maze, and in the evening, come home to host a BBQ feast in the cottage’s pretty garden. Park your car in the private parking area (there's room for six cars) and head to this impressive farmhouse-style cottage, which features characterful exposed beams, lofty ceilings and original flooring. Step inside the entrance lobby and you'll find a pool table - a playful hint at the fun you will have in this well-appointed property. Choose from the two beautifully designed lounges, both of which feature crackling wood burners. When it's time to eat, head to the open-plan kitchen/diner to rustle up some dinner to share at the large wooden table. Alternatively, head out onto the patio, fire up the charcoal BBQ or pizza oven, and dine alfresco. Afterwards, relax in the bubbling hot tub. At the end of the day, the ground floor offers two charming bedrooms - a cosy double and a bunk room perfect for kids. Alternatively, soak up some classic British seaside fun at Southwold Beach (4 miles) - stroll along the sandy shore, check out the beach huts, and savour fish and chips on Southwold Pier.
