For those interested in the area's history, Felbrigg Hall (5 miles) and Blickling Hall (14 miles) are well worth visiting. The coast is the real star, with miles of sandy or pebbly beaches. Take your buckets, spades, and water sports equipment and head to Cromer (4 miles) or the quieter Salthouse Beach (6 miles).
