Keen walkers can enjoy some of the finest routes in the country on the glorious Northumberland Coast Path, which begins in Beadnell and continues on towards Bamburgh Castle. Catch a boat from Seahouses (1.5 miles) to the Farne Islands, home to puffins, terns and a large colony of seals. Visit Bamburgh (5 miles) to see its magnificent castle and the Grace Darling Museum.
