There are more sights to behold at the sporting estate Goodwood (9 miles) – famous for its Festival of Speed, horse racing events and iconic Goodwood Revival, which celebrates the “golden era” of motorsport – and in the county capital Chichester, a bustling civic centre since Roman times. Beyond, the South Downs offer a wealth of walking and cycling opportunities, while 24 miles west, Portsmouth's Historic Dockyard features legendary ships, interactive exhibits and maritime experiences, in a beautiful waterfront setting.

Off-road parking means you can unpack and settle in at your leisure. A shared entrance and staircase lead up to the studio; step through your front door to reveal an open-plan social space with a vibrant colour palette and all the comforts of home. Cook up a treat in the chic kitchen area, dine at the conveniently close table, then stretch out on the sofa – which converts into a sofa bed – to stream your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. If you'd like to snatch a quiet moment, there's a window seat where you can curl up with a good book. When it's time to sleep, more of the studio’s unique style is unveiled as paddle-style stairs lead up to the mezzanine-level bedroom with a king-size bed. A shower room completes the comfort for all.
