There are also many other restaurants to try here, as well as the interesting National Lobster Hatchery and the opportunity to take a delightful boat trip across the estuary to the upmarket town of Rock, with its pretty beach.

The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner has an impressive exposed stone wall and a wood burner which keeps the house warm and cosy, whatever the weather. With TV and DVD to keep everyone entertained. Passing the dining area, guests will find the kitchen which has a lighter and airier feel, and is well-equipped with an integrated oven with hob and extractor hood, fridge with ice compartment and a butler's sink. The adjacent utility area houses the washing machine and dishwasher. The shower room with WC is also located on the ground floor, as is the master bedroom, a double with TV. The steep characterful cottage-style stairs lead to the twin bedroom, which, due to the style of the property, has low, sloping ceilings.

Outside, there is an enclosed garden with patio area, which has outdoor furniture and a BBQ, as well as a separate lawn.
