Hartland Quay (2.5 miles) has striking rock formations and sweeping Atlantic views. At Hartland Point and Lighthouse (3 miles), the Bristol Channel meets the Atlantic, while Speke's Mill Mouth and waterfall (4 miles) reward walkers with sandy stretches at low tide. Youngsters will love exploring the rock pools at Bucks Mills Beach (9 miles), which is also ideal for leisurely picnics. Hartland village (2 miles) has traditional shops and pubs, and Clovelly (6 miles) charms with its cobbled streets and harbour. The Milky Way Adventure Park (16 miles) and Bude with Crooklets Beach (22 miles) both make rewarding day trips.
