The property lies in a quiet spot in the friendly hamlet of Lantegos Highway, just over a mile from the eastern shore of the magnificent River Fowey. Walkers can head southwards towards Polruan (3 miles) or Pencarrow Head (5 miles), and the immediate area has some gorgeous beaches, including Lansallos and Polperro, both within 6 miles. From the village of Bodinnick (1.5 miles), the car ferry crosses over the river to the thriving resort of Fowey, with a pretty beach and a fantastic choice of pubs, restaurants and cafes. Other local attractions include Wheal Martyn Clay Works, Restormel Castle and Porfell Wildlife Park and Sanctuary, all within 16 miles.

Featuring a gated entrance, this delightful hideaway has a bright and spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner offering an ideal space where you can all unwind after a great day exploring an unforgettable part of Cornwall. Set beneath a high vaulted ceiling, the snug lounge has plenty of seating and a Smart TV, with light streaming in via the patio doors. To one side, the smartly arranged dining table is perfect for enjoying family meals together, which you can prepare in the sleek, fully equipped and beautifully organised kitchen to the rear. When it’s time to turn in for the night, there are two light and cheery bedrooms to choose between: a cosy twin suitable for younger guests, and a relaxing king-size room which has its own invigorating shower room. The property is rounded off with another refreshing shower room.

Stepping outside, a large and enclosed garden has a sweet lawn with plenty of outdoor furniture, offering an ideal spot for dining alfresco and taking in the beautiful surrounding views. Ample parking is available at the front of the property on the enclosed private driveway.
