Enter the cottage through the pretty wooden porch and stable door into the main reception room. Vaulted ceilings are lined with original oak beams, which match the heated floor below, while new Velux windows flood the room with natural light. Straight ahead of you, the kitchen/diner adopts a distinctly farmhouse feel with cream cabinets, wooden worktops and a painted kitchen table. The kitchen has been equipped with an oven and hob, fridge with ice compartment, washing machine, dishwasher and butler's sink. The lounge to the right is cosy and inviting, with comfortable sofas, cushions and a woodburner with initial supply of logs set in an alcove fireplace, the perfect way to warm up after a long walk in the countryside. A hand-painted Welsh dresser houses games, DVDs and an iPod dock for additional entertainment. There is also a walk-in clothes storage cupboard. Step back through the stable door and you'll find yourself in a pretty paved area and enclosed garden with table and chairs, perfect for enjoying a summer BBQ with the farmyard ducks for company.
