This second-floor apartment sits 150 metres from the sands of Watergate Bay Beach on the North Cornwall coast, with peaceful garden views from its spacious enclosed deck. Families, couples, and active holidaymakers will find it a strong base for days on the water and exploring the rugged coastline beyond. With 2 miles of sand exposed to Atlantic swell, the beach draws surfers, thrill seekers, and families alike - an excellent spot for watersports of all kinds. A surf school on the sand runs lessons in surfing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and kite surfing, making the most of the consistent incoming swell. The coast path leads to Newquay’s seven bays in one direction and Mawgan Porth in the other, opening up routes suited to long rambles or shorter jaunts along the clifftops. Surf competitions and music festivals keep the atmosphere at Watergate Bay lively throughout the year.

The open-plan living area forms the heart of the apartment, with a contemporary sofa bed fitted with a memory foam topper and a TV for winding down after a day on the waves. A dining table with four chairs sits alongside, and doors open from the living space onto the large enclosed deck - bringing natural light and garden views into the room. Kitchen facilities sit to one side of the open-plan space, well equipped for preparing self-catering meals. Beyond the living area, the double bedroom is furnished with a super-king-size bed that can be configured as a twin, giving flexibility for different groups. Next to the bedroom, the family bathroom features a bath, power shower over the bath, a heated towel rail, and WC. Back in the living area, the sofa bed converts to a comfortable double for two additional guests, topped with the memory foam layer for a good night’s sleep.

The large enclosed decked area provides a peaceful outdoor space with a table and chairs for outdoor dining, overlooking the gardens. In the basement, a secure storage cage keeps surfboards, wetsuits, and beach toys safe between sessions. On site, a surf shower is available for rinsing off after the beach, shared with other guests in the development. Parking is provided for one car.
