Durlston Country Park and Castle is less than a mile away, as is the South West Coastal Path leading along the majestic Jurassic Coast.

Further afield you can explore more of Dorset with a visit to the county town of Dorchester with its roman townhouse, Victorian borough gardens and Brewery Square. Within a short drive you can visit Corfe Castle, Arne and Studland.
