This second floor apartment sits 150 metres from the sand at Watergate Bay Beach on the North Cornwall coast, with a sea-view balcony overlooking the bay. Families, couples, and surf enthusiasts are well placed here, with long coastal walks and watersports right from the beach. Watergate Bay’s 2 miles of sand are exposed to incoming Atlantic swells, making it an excellent spot for surfing, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, and kite surfing - a local surf school offers lessons on the beach. The bay draws families and dogs alongside surfers and thrill seekers, giving it a lively, energetic feel throughout the year. The coast path stretches in both directions, linking to Newquay’s seven bays one way and Mawgan Porth the other, with routes suited to long rambles and shorter jaunts alike. Music festivals and surf competitions run throughout the season, keeping the atmosphere at Watergate Bay buzzing.

The open-plan living area connects the sitting space, dining area, and kitchen in one flowing layout, with doors opening onto the furnished sea-view balcony. A Smart TV and a selection of books and board games sit in the living space, while the dining table seats four for meals with a view across the bay. A double sofa bed in the living area provides additional sleeping space. In the bedroom, a zip-and-link bed can be arranged as a super-king-size double or two full-size single beds, with its own Smart TV. The bathroom adjoins the bedroom, fitted with a shower over the bath, WC, and heated towel rail. An iron, ironing board, and hairdryer are also provided. Lift access from the ground floor connects directly to the second floor apartment, and underfloor heating runs throughout.

The balcony overlooks the bay from the second floor, furnished with a table and four chairs for al fresco dining. The apartment is accessed via lift from ground level. A surf shower, shared with other guests in the development, is available at ground level for rinsing off after a day on the beach. Secure storage in the basement, also shared with other guests in the development, provides space for surfboards, wetsuits, and beach toys. Designated parking is available for one car.
