With its bevy of beautiful beaches, pretty harbour, and cobbled streets lined with shops and places to eat — St Ives is all that a coastal holiday destination should be, and this lovely seaside home is right in the heart of the town.
Tastefully refurbished, the house is set over four levels with plenty of room for friends and family. On the ground floor at street level, there's a cosy living room with a wood-burning stove and a bright, gallery-style dining area which overlooks the kitchen below. The kitchen is fully equipped for home cooking and has steps leading up to a small courtyard garden which is a sunny spot for morning coffees or an afternoon drink.
On the first floor are two lovely bedrooms and the family bathroom has a bath with shower over. One of the rooms on this floor has a double bed with a single bunk bed above so is perfectly suited to families with children, while the other is a lovely twin. On the top floor, the main bedroom is airy and light, with a king-size bed, Smart TV, and an armchair positioned in the window alcove.
A stunning slice of the Cornish coast, St Ives is home to several galleries including the Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Studio. Independent shops and well-known brands can be found on Fore Street, as well as many good restaurants, bakeries and cafés.
The coast path offers lovely walking routes including the one that connects St Ives with Carbis Bay, or visitors can opt to take the 5-minute train journey from St Ives station. Nearby, Hayle offers its own beaches including the dog-friendly Porthkidney Sands, and the Towans, while Gwithian Beach which is slightly further away, is an excellent place to surf.

Stennack Car Park is the closest at a 2-minute walk. Please be aware this this car park is privately owned and has received negative reviews so although nearest, it is not our top recommendation for parking in St Ives
There are two council car parks we'd recommend:
Park Avenue Car Park is a 4-minute walk from the property. This has 77 spaces which do fill up quickly during busier times
Trenwith Car Park is 0.3 miles from the cottage (under 10-minutes' walk) and has 311 spaces (winter) and 759 spaces (summer)
