Walk or cycle to the many surrounding beaches at Goring and Kingston or catch the coastal bus to Brighton one way or Arundel and Littlehampton the other. Brighton, with its iconic Royal Pavilion, famed independent shops and welcoming pubs is just 8 miles away, and Lancing train station (1 mile) also provides regular direct services to London. Located at the foot of the South Downs, walking opportunities nearby include the ruined Iron Age fort at Cissbury Ring (8 miles), and Highdown Gardens (9 miles).
