A contemporary kitchen stretches across the back of the house and features all the modern must-haves, including a wine cooler and dishwasher; cook up a feast and then enjoy good conversation as you eat in the elegant dining room. A spacious shower room completes the ground floor layout; upstairs there's a light, bright family bathroom and four bedrooms - two have a double bed, one has twin beds and the other has a single. Bordered by pine woodlands, Wells-next-the-Sea has a fine, sandy beach and iconic beach huts - it's a mile from the bustling town centre and quayside but if you don't fancy the walk, a small gauge railway will take you there. At the harbour, fishing boats unload their daily catch and children throw lines for crabs; there's an eclectic choice of boutiques, cafes, pubs and tea rooms to browse, and a lovely playground where the little ones can run off steam before heading home. Should you wish to explore further, neighbouring Holkham has its own famous beach and nature reserve.
