Comprising a two-bedroom lodge and a cosy cabin with a welcoming double bedroom, the site sleeps up to six guests and is ideal for those travelling together who might appreciate a little privacy. With a bar, a sauna and a covered jacuzzi, it might be difficult to tear yourselves away. But with the picturesque waterside village of Glengarriff and the Beara Peninsula on your doorstep, there's plenty to entice you out.

The main lodge fuses rustic charm with plenty of contemporary comforts. The spacious and elegant lounge features antique-style furniture, a polished wooden floor, and a wood burner, inviting cosy evenings with your loved ones. Next door, the kitchen/diner has monochrome kitchen cabinets and a large family dining table, while an outdoor table invites al fresco dining in the garden. When it's time to rest your head, there's a double bedroom with an en-suite shower room plus a twin room in the main lodge, and a double with a shower and WC in the cabin. The cabin is also home to the sauna and a bar, while the Jacuzzi adjoins the cabin under an awning.

Located on Bantry Bay, Glengarriff (2 miles) is a picturesque village surrounded by lush countryside. It's a vibrant place with a great choice of shops, galleries, bars and restaurants, and is home to a harbour and the 'Blue Pool' – a tidal harbour that's a great paddling spot. Glengarriff Wood Nature Reserve boasts numerous trails, waterfalls, and an impressive lookout (3 miles), or you can hop on a boat to amble the beautiful garden on Garnish Island. It's also gateway to the Beara Peninsula, home to wild landscapes, Bronze Age archaeological sites and stunning beaches.
