Perfect for a family or group of friends, this coastal-style holiday home is at the heart of St Ives' busy harbour area. It features a light and airy living area where five can enjoy time together, while admiring the characterful nautical touches that adorn the space.

Step down through the front door and you'll find a companionable, coastal-themed living space; stretch out on leather sofas for a night at home or step into the kitchen/diner, an open stud wall separates the two main spaces. All the essentials for an effortless self-catering stay are here, and there's a dining suite with elbow space for everyone; accompanying pets will love being able to follow as you move from one area to another. Upstairs, there's a tiled bathroom and three bedrooms - two with a double bed and one with a single; please note there is no space for a cot, so this property is not considered suitable for children below the age of two.

Although the cottage doesn't have a garden, just a few steps from your front door is St Ives Harbour where, at low tide, a soft, sandy and sheltered beach is revealed. Stroll along the wharf - it's lined with shops, pubs, cafes and galleries - and you'll reach the grassy headland known as The Island; on the other side are the pristine sands of Porthmeor Beach, popular year-round with surfers and swimmers. Away from the water, Tate St Ives celebrates West Cornwall's artistic connections while the open space of The Malakoff is home to a Barbara Hepworth sculpture. For adventures further afield, drive the coast road 20 miles south-west to Land's End, or head 10 miles cross-country to St Michael's Mount in Marazion.
