Carbis Bay Beach is a sheltered, sandy beach that's popular with bathers. Its calm waters also make it a great spot for kayaking and paddleboarding. The South West Coast Path passes through Carbis Bay, and a scenic, 2-mile jaunt brings you to St Ives. In the town, you'll find a fantastic array on independent shops and eateries, as well as iconic art galleries such as Tate St Ives and the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden. Nearby day trips include St Michael's Mount (7.5 miles) and The Minack Theatre (18 miles).
