The property is a short drive from the stunning coastline, including beaches of Wonwell,  Bigbury-on-Sea and the famous Burgh Island. The village itself is home to picturesque walking trails, local pubs, and a range of outdoor activities. Guests can enjoy hiking, cycling, and exploring the nearby South Devon Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Boasting four well-appointed bedrooms, including two accessible bedrooms on the ground floor, Oakdale is thoughtfully furnished to provide a welcoming, homely feel.

Perfect for children and the family dog to explore and great for one or two families, friendship groups or those looking for a peaceful retreat.
Please note there is also a small shallow pond within the garden so care must be taken and small children supervised.

Accommodation
Step up into the entrance hallway.
Large, extremely well equipped quality kitchen with breakfast bar, eye level electric oven, induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, large full height larder fridge. Utility room with washing machine, under counter freezer.

Ground Floor:
Step down into the light and spacious dining room complete with piano, dining table to seat up to ten, roof lights and french doors to the patio.
Lounge with sofas and armchairs, large Smart TV, log burning stove, selection of books and board games, jigsaws etc.. Dual aspect french doors open into the dining room and the patio.
Bedroom 1 with King size 5ft bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers
En suite shower room with shower cubicle, hand basin, heated towel rail, WC
Bedroom 2 with Twin 3ft single divan beds, (can be zip linked to form a superking double – please advise at time of booking if this is required as a double) hanging rail, chest of drawers.

Bedroom 3 with Double 4ft 6inch bed, velux windows, ample built in wardrobes, chest of drawers.
Bedroom 4 with Twin 3ft single divan beds (can be zip linked to form a superking double – please advise at time of booking if this is required as a double) with built in wardrobes, velux windows built into the sloping ceiling, chest of drawers.
Family bathroom with bath and shower over, vanity unit with cabinets and basin, heated towel rail, WC.

Outside
Steps from the driveway lead up to the main garden area. The property is surrounded by a path which leads to various areas of the garden,  including a secluded patio with seating
Please also note there is a small shallow pond within the garden.
 
To the front and rear of property there are outside taps, ideal for washing off sandy children, equipment and dogs.

Parking
A large driveway opens from a quiet country lane to ample parking area with room for at least 3 cars.

• Included: Bed linen and towels (guests must provide their own beach/dog towels), oil central heating and an initial basket of logs in winter months. High chair, travel cot and stair gate available.
• Internet and Telephone: Wi-Fi. There is no landline telephone available but mobile reception is generally reasonable, although please check with your provider prior to booking. 
• Pets: 1 Dog allowed. Pet Charge £30 per week. 
• Electric vehicles: Electric Vechicle charging possible via mains supply. £30 charge per week. 
• Short breaks: Short breaks are available outside of school holidays. 
• Local Facilities: Beach 1 mile. The Dolphin village pub 5 minutes walk. Superb village Shop & Post Office at St Ann's Chapel 1.5  miles. Modbury 3.5  miles.
