Large group holiday home in North Devon that sleeps 8 just one mile from Westward Ho and two miles of golden sandy beach. This four bedroom cottage is pet friendly and is close to the South West Coast Path. Local amenities include a golf course and tennis courts, alongside a great selection of independent shops, pubs and restaurants.
Step inside this truly stunning property via the glass sided walkway which leads from the parking area, and you are immediately greeted by the fabulous atrium that is central to the property, on the first floor creating brightness, space and year round warmth for the whole house.
Venture further inside into the gorgeous open plan lounge/kitchen/diner which boasts a lovely dual aspect with full height, full width windows giving far reaching, beautiful countryside views. The lounge is fully air-conditioned, with a comfortable seating area and a grand dining table for up to ten guests. There is also a large Smart TV and patio doors leading to a glass fronted balcony, furnished for relaxing or casual dining.
The contemporary kitchen has a breakfast bar as part of the central island, four electric ovens, induction hob, microwave, fridge and dishwasher. There is also a second lounge area leading off the main living space and this offers further comfortable seating, a Smart cinema TV plus a cosy fireplace feature. Now head down the impressive glass sided staircase to the ground floor where you will find the stunning bedrooms, each lovingly presented and all including a Smart TV. Two spacious dual aspect rooms boast super king size zip and links (which can be made into twins on request) and patio doors to the sun terrace.
There are two further bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with bunk beds. There are two lovely bathrooms, both with bath, separate shower and WC. The final room is centrally located, includes patio doors to the sun terrace, and is furnished as a relaxation area or useful office, which can easily be adapted to create further accommodation with twin sofa beds. This room also features a Smart TV.
The lower ground floor area includes a useful utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and tea/coffee making facilities that service the garden, plus also a further cupboard that houses a large American style fridge/freezer with ice maker. Heading outside, further highlights await with a large enclosed lawn garden with an expansive sun terrace, with electrically operated awnings.
There is a dining area for eight guests, a relaxing seating area with coffee table and four sun-beds. A gas BBQ is also included. Here you can relax in style at the end of the day or enjoy soaking up the sun without having to venture far from the front door. There is also the gorgeous glass fronted balcony leading from the living area which provides a lovely venue for breakfast, morning coffee or pre dinner drinks. Ample private off-road parking, as well as a Tesla car charging point, is provided directly outside.
