For a taste of history, head to Tintagel (12 miles), where you can explore the castle ruins and learn all about the legend of King Arthur.

From your private parking spot, head to your gorgeous retreat. Step inside and you'll be greeted by an inviting hallway that leads to a spacious open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining area. Take a moment to appreciate the Scandi-boho vibe, which comes complete with an attractive pellet stove and rustic wooden accents, before you head to the bright and cheerful kitchen area. Whip up some of your partner's favourite dishes and share an intimate dinner for two at the dining table.
