Discover plenty to keep you busy outside the city, too. The National Trust's striking Tredegar House, 4 miles away, is a must, with its gorgeous gardens and grounds. Those who enjoy walking will also wish to visit the picturesque Fourteen Locks Canal Centre, 3 miles away.

There is also a useful family shower room at this level. Your kitchen/diner is also downstairs, where you will find all the equipment and accessories you will need for conjuring up culinary delights during your stay.
