When it's time to explore the surrounding area, you can access the South West Coast Path right from your front door (150 metres), offering up ample opportunities for strolls along the impressive coastline, perhaps spotting rare birds like the Cornish chough. Head north 1.5 miles to reach the spectacular giant rock stacks at Carnewas at Bedruthan, a National Trust site, or south to the wonderful beach at Beacon Cove (1 mile). Padstow should also be on your itinerary; this bustling fishing port has a high number of exceptional restaurants where you can savour the delights of local cuisine.
