Featuring a wood burner, flagstone flooring and an inglenook fireplace, this pretty getaway has been charmingly updated and beautifully decorated, making a fabulous base for discovering the region's sandy beaches and breathtaking countryside.

The inviting lounge has a wood burner set in an inglenook fireplace, plenty of seating and an array of books, providing a relaxing space to sit back and watch a movie. A step leads up to a handy raised area with a desk. The spacious kitchen/diner features a farmhouse-style dining table and plenty of equipment to help you rustle up all your favourite dishes. The ground floor also has a useful shower room. Steep cottage-style stairs lead up to the first floor. Here you will find a sweet bathroom and three charming bedrooms: two cosy doubles and a cheerful twin. A small conservatory-style porch leads into the enclosed courtyard garden with outdoor furniture, making a relaxing spot for dining alfresco or sitting out with a morning coffee or glass of wine.

The cottage lies at the south-eastern end of Reydon, a friendly village with a choice of shops and great places to eat and drink. A 500-metre stroll over Buss Creek will take you to the outskirts of Southwold. This bustling seaside town is home to a range of pubs, galleries and restaurants, as well as a golf club, vintage cinema, lighthouse, beach and pier as well as the Southwold Maize Maze and Southwold Model Boat Pond.
