It's the perfect base from which families can discover the wild beauty of the surrounding Exmoor National Park and wider North Devon area. You'll have plenty to explore nearby, with shops, cafés, and pubs just 100 metres away. Stroll along the harbour (500 metres with a West Country ice cream or hop aboard the famous Victorian cliff railway (0.5 miles) that climbs 152 metres up to the twin village of Lynton, where you can look forward to unbeatable views over the rugged coastline.

This light-filled home has a spacious open-plan living area with bi-fold doors that open out to a glass-screened balcony. Sink into the soft seating by the Scandi-style wood burner or gather around the black-and-white kitchen island for nibbles, drinks and chatter. The dining area has lovely views through the balcony doors - a great backdrop for late breakfasts or candlelit dinners. Upstairs are two elegant bedrooms: a king-size room with an en-suite bathroom and a second twin room (convertible to a king on request) with an en-suite shower. Outside, the sunny balcony is kitted out with chic outdoor furniture - perfect for sipping something cold as you watch the world go by. On-street parking is available.

When it's time to explore, take a scenic wander through woodland trails to Watersmeet (1 mile), a peaceful beauty spot where rivers converge. Board a steam train on the Lynton and Barnstaple Railway (4 miles) through spectacular Exmoor scenery or browse the exhibits at the Lyn and Exmoor Museum (1 mile), housed within a pretty stone cottage.
