Less than 4 miles south, the fishing village of Seahouses has a bustling harbour where boats offer trips to the nearby Farne Islands, a haven for puffins and seals, while dolphins often swim in the surrounding waters. World famous for its medieval religious heritage and 16th-century castle, Lindisfarne – also known as Holy Island – is a 15-mile drive from Bamburgh and can be reached, when the tides permit, via a paved causeway.

Around a mile from Bamburgh Castle, this beautiful holiday home is one of the original Armstrong Cottages and boasts an idyllic seaside location. A chic coastal style flows throughout with rich colours, designer furnishings, copper, marble and a long list of complimentary must-haves to make every holiday here memorable. All at ground level, there's a super-stylish kitchen/dining/living room where you can unwind in comfort and enjoy a selection of toys and games, plus a TV for home-style entertainment.
