Venture across the bridge to the Edwardian coastal resort of Southwold, a bustling seaside resort with an imposing lighthouse and fascinating pier. Jump in the car and drive over to RSPB nature reserve, Minsmere (9 miles), where you may catch sight of deer, otters, and a range of wild birds, so remember your camera!
