When you've explored Holt town, you can head to the English Heritage site at Baconsthorpe Castle (4.5 miles) or take the dogs for a runaround in the lovely Holt Country Park (2 miles), which offers 100 acres of woodland for you to explore. Train lovers will make a beeline for Holt train station, where you can board a stream train for a journey through the pretty heathlands towards the sea at Weybourne (4 miles). Whether you alight here or continue along the coast to the Victorian seaside resort of Sheringham (6 miles), a satisfying day out is guaranteed!
