Soak into a comfy sofa in the spacious living/dining room, watch the Smart TV, and enjoy dining together at the table. The compact kitchen is well-appointed with everything needed for rustling up delicious meals, and the family bathroom is on the ground floor. Upstairs are the two bedrooms: a boho chic-style double and a lovely, smart twin room. Throw the door in the living area open and take your drinks out to the patio while the kids and Fido play on the large lawn.

Wander to The Quay to take the kids crabbing and pick up an ice cream to cool down in the summer sun. Book a boat trip to see the wonderful seals at Blakeney Point and venture out on the waters with the sailing club. Holkham beach (11 miles) is well worth visiting. You can walk all the way to Wells-next-the-Sea then walk back through the woods, where you may spot wild deer. Head to Weybourne (6 miles) home to the Muckleburgh Military Collection, and Weybourne station where you can hop on the North Norfolk Railway to Sheringham (9 miles) one way and Holt (5.5 miles) the other. Spend the day exploring Holt's art galleries and antique shops, play golf at Sheringham Golf Club (9 miles) and visit the Doggie Diner at Cromer (14 miles).
