Just 4 miles away, the charming, waterside town of Dunoon, is home to a splendid Victorian pier, the historic Castle House Museum, Riverside Swim & Health Centre and the beauty spot of Bishop's Glen, with peaceful paths to explore. See towering redwoods and wonderful year-round displays of changing colours at Benmore Botanic Gardens or the magical forest experience, Puck's Glen offers an enchanting walk through a moss-covered gorge (11 miles).
