This elegant cottage offers glorious uninterrupted river views from almost every room and is centrally located for enjoying Appledore's excellent variety of pubs, restaurants and chip shops. It is perfect for discovering the area's many glorious beaches, picturesque villages and wonderful costal walks.

This light, welcoming and cosy cottage has been imaginatively redeveloped to provide relaxing and comfortable holiday accommodation for up to six guests. The property is full of character and has been tastefully decorated and furnished throughout. The pretty lounge offers an ideal space to relax in, and enjoys wonderful views, as does the stylish dining room. There's also a charming kitchen and three comfortable bedrooms, all with fabulous views. Please note the twin bedroom, which occupies the second floor, has sloping ceilings and is approached via a steep cottage-style staircase. The cottage also features a delightful balcony and a beautiful patio area overlooking the water.

The idyllic village of Appledore is famous for its colourful fishermen's cottages and narrow streets, and for its shipbuilding heritage, which is explored in the village's North Devon Maritime Museum. Within a couple of miles of the village are the Northam Burrows Country Park and the popular Victorian seaside resort of Westward Ho! with its miles of sandy beach. You can also catch a foot ferry to visit the pretty town of Instow, or take a boat trip from Bideford to the glorious island of Lundy.
