Crackington Haven Stable

Less than 2.5 miles from Crackington Haven Beach, this idyllic North Cornwall retreat provides an exceptional base for walkers, cyclists and surfers alike. Crackington Haven itself offers rock pools and a scenic cove of calm waters, perfect for paddling and exploration, while nearby Widemouth Bay (5.5 miles) is renowned for its excellent surf, with schools and equipment hire readily available. Both beaches are connected by the spectacular South West Coast Path – a vast cliff-top trail that links scenic villages and characterful coves throughout Cornwall and into Devon. Venture further along the coast to the Hartland Heritage Coast (20 miles), where the two counties merge seamlessly. Inland, explore the historic market town of Launceston (14 miles), once the county capital, or head to Bodmin Moor (9.5 miles) for dramatic moorland walks and wide-open landscapes.

This former stable has been thoughtfully renovated to celebrate its original features, including painted beams and a striking double-height living space with a mezzanine level above. Step inside to discover the open-plan living area, which incorporates a fully equipped kitchen, a practical dining area with a space-saving drop-leaf table, and a comfortable lounge with soft sofas arranged around the TV. Also on this floor is the first of two bedrooms, a welcoming double, along with a family bathroom featuring a bath, perfect for unwinding after a long day. Stairs lead up to the second bedroom, a cosy single room set on the mezzanine beneath the eaves, creating a snug and inviting sleeping space.

From the lounge, patio doors open onto a private decking area, where outdoor seating invites long evenings soaking up the sunshine. Elsewhere on the estate, enjoy access to 36 acres of woodland and grounds, as well as a shared games room equipped with a pool table, air hockey, dartboard and Bluetooth speaker. Private parking for one car completes this charming retreat. Additional parking can be arranged by prior request to the owner.
