Welcome to Cormorant Cottage! This beautifully furnished and immaculately finished Victorian cottage is perfectly equipped with simply everything you would need for your next New Forest stay. Every home comfort has been thought of in this characterful cottage, from luxurious bedding and towels, delightful seaside touches and a thoughtful welcome pack, making every moment of your stay a relaxed and carefree experience.

An open plan living space includes cosy seating arranged around a flame effect log burner and Smart TV and a comfortable dining area, with a good selection of board games for family fun! A light and airy kitchen with vaulted glazed ceiling leads through a lobby to a luxurious family shower room. Upstairs are two bedrooms and a beautiful en-suite bathroom. Outside, a private and fully enclosed courtyard garden is a wonderful sun trap, with a choice of seating areas including an outdoor dining set and raised bar table and stools - a great spot for a morning coffee or evening tipple. Festooned with lighting, and with a chiminea and gas barbecue, long and lazy summer evenings can be fully enjoyed.

From the cottage 5-minute stroll takes you to the pretty cobbles leading down to the river and quay, where boats bob along, and fisherman unload their daily catch. A great spot for crabbing and people watching at one of the many cafe’s or pubs. Take a train along the trundling branch line to the Isle of Wight ferry for an exciting day out across The Solent! The Georgian High Street has a selection of independent restaurants, pubs, café’s and boutique shops, as well as popular chains. The Saturday Charter Market is well-worth a visit, with a vast array of stalls lining the main street. The New Forest National Park is within a five-minute drive, with miles of heathland to explore on foot or bicycle amongst the free-roaming ponies, cows and donkeys.
