Situated on the outskirts of the stunning natural port of Fowey and only half a mile from the sandy beach at Readymoney Cove, this comfortable attractive cottage, tastefully converted from a former mill, is tucked into one corner of a small group of stone-built cottages with a play area for the children.

Fowey, half a mile downhill, is a charming waterside town with shops, restaurants, pubs and gift shops, and it is also half a mile by public footpath to the small sheltered beach at Readymoney Cove below St Catherine's Castle. Pleasure boats leave from Town Quay during the season, there are lovely creek and coastal walks nearby, including The Hall Walk, a ferry crosses the harbour to Polruan and The Saints Way footpath can be taken from Fowey to Padstow on the North Coast.

Lanhydrock House, The Lost Gardens of Heligan and the Eden Project are a 15-minute drive away, and the picturesque villages of Polperro and Looe can be accessed by the Bodinnick car ferry nearby. There is also a seasonal passenger ferry to the fishing village of Mevagissey.
