Clevedon's splendid Victorian, Grade I-listed pier is a gem, and the town has a clutch of wonderful independent shops and eateries. Enjoy the remarkable views across to Wales from the seafront promenade and take a refreshing dip in Marine Lake. Clevedon Golf Centre welcomes both parents and children, and there are two fine National Trust properties to explore nearby: Clevedon Court (1.5 miles), a medieval manor house with terraced gardens and Tyntesfield (7.5 miles), an ornate Victorian Gothic Revival masterpiece set in extensive grounds.

The well-planned, all-white kitchen has everything you need to get cooking, and a pretty, country-style dining table and chairs slot perfectly into this airy space. Still on the ground floor, are a spacious family bathroom and an inviting king-size bedroom, dressed in charming linens. Stairs lead up to the zip-and-link twin bedroom, tucked away within the eaves and boasting skylights – ideal for stargazing on a clear night. This room can also be made as a double bed, on request at time of booking.

Outside is a large, enclosed private patio with garden furniture and a coal BBQ, perfect for outdoor dining. There is also a wider garden area, with a shared boules court.
