This three-storey home has an upside-down layout, allowing you to take full advantage of the sweeping sea views over Trevone Bay. All four bedrooms are on the ground floor - if you're lucky you'll get one of the two bedrooms boasting stunning sea views and private furnished balconies (coin toss?). Head upstairs to the open-plan living area, a gorgeous space with lofty vaulted ceilings, along with skylights and large patio doors letting plenty of light in. A gentle colour scheme of white, beige and red creates a pleasing effect, and the view from here is just magical. Cook up family meals in the roomy kitchen, which has elegant light grey units and a lovely wooden floor. On the lower ground floor, a snug offers additional sleeping space for two handy - if you've got extra guests staying. You'll have a peaceful garden, too, complete with a BBQ and a fire pit for evening gatherings, all within an enclosed space that”s ideal for dogs and children.

There's plenty to do nearby - the port town of Padstow lies 2 miles east, so head there for take scenic walks along narrow streets, shopping and friendly eateries. Golf enthusiasts will make a beeline for the Trevose Golf and Country Club (3 miles away), while beach lovers will want to check out the golden sands of Constantine Bay and Treyarnon Bay, both within 4 miles. Not forgetting Harlyn Bay (2 miles) away, another surfing hotspot with a friendly vibe.
