A spacious beachfront cottage that sleeps eight on Cawsands Beach, Cornwall, within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Inside, a homely kitchen/diner provides all mod cons and the spacious living room, with its window seats offers amazing sea views across the bay. In fact, there are breath-taking sea views from all front facing rooms. Choose from four bedrooms, the ground floor king-size that leads to a bunk room with an en-suite bathroom or the first floor king-size room and bunk room with en-suite. Outside a sunny terrace garden offers a lovely place to sunbathe and there's a convenient laundry/conservatory room. Restaurants, tea rooms, pubs and shops are minutes away, as is the beach. The Bay beach bar and restaurant is 4 minutes walk. No private parking, but there's always space in one of the towns car parks.
Cawsand lies on a wild headland studded with fishing villages, golden sandy beaches and pretty coves. A little haven of pastel-coloured cottages encircling a shingle beach and bay that overlooks the stunning Plymouth Sound. On clear days spot birds, seals and dolphins. The pace is slow, peaceful and relaxing narrow streets filled with shops and galleries. Cawsand’s twin village of Kingsand is just as charming. With its colourful wooden boats and woodland border, holidays in Cawsand are ideal for those who wish to escape the crowds. The crystal-clear, calm water is perfect if you want to enjoy a morning dip, SUP or kayaking, which can be hired on the beach. If you need more Plymouth is a Ferry ride from the beach. Whitsand Bay is five down the South West Coast Path. Picnic in the dreamy riverside gardens at Port Eliot, a boho stately home which hosts quirky events such as the Dog Festival & Whippet Tea Party in May and a popular literary festival in the summer, or head to Mount Edgcumbe park, where you can rent bikes or Segways for a fun afternoon out. Or take tea and cake at the Long Gallery, a stunning old school in St Germans or a roast at the Line in Tideford.
