Discover the surrounding Northumberland Coast National Landscape as you stride out towards Seahouses (3.5 miles) and continue along the coast path to reach Beadnell Bay (7.5 miles) with its gorgeous beach and selection of eateries, pubs and shops. A half-hour drive takes you to Alnwick (17.5 miles) - visiting Alnwick Castle and Gardens is a must. Another local landmark is the Holy Island of Lindisfarne (16 miles).
