Helford is only 300 metres away and ideal for slowing down and having fun crabbing from the jetty, enjoying a morning swim or admiring the beautiful creek that inspired Daphne du Maurier's novel, Frenchman's Creek. The magnificent botanical gardens at Trebah, shaped by this part of Cornwall's unique micro-climate, and its sandy beach are just 14 miles away. The fascinating town of Falmouth is less than 20 miles away; discover its maritime heritage and explore Pendennis Castle. Alternatively, put on your walking boots and head out to explore the trails and cliff walks along the Lizard Peninsula, just 11.5 miles away.
