Set in an enviable position on Flamborough Head, this attractive retreat captures astounding views over farmland and a golf course towards the lighthouse and sea. Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom hideaway is 500 metres from Selwick's Bay, with its many rockpools. North Landing Beach, which is popular for kayaking and paddleboarding, is 3 miles away. Step straight out from the house to enjoy exceptional coastal walks. Lace up your boots and follow footpaths for 6 miles to vibrant Bridlington. Bridlington itself is a great place for family days out to enjoy traditional seaside amusements and bucket or spade afternoons on sandy beaches. Plan an excursion to Scarborough (20 miles), with its colourful attractions and castle to visit. Head just 4 miles to Sewerby Hall and Gardens to explore the gardens and zoo.

Tear yourselves away from the views and enter the holiday home at ground-floor level. Head through to the elegant lounge, with its bay window that brings the natural light streaming in, to chat about your day, play a game together or find a film on the Smart TV. Alternatively, amble through to the conservatory to continue to take in the scenery and enjoy a quiet moment to yourself. When it is time to whip up the next delicious feast, make your way into the kitchen to find everything you will need to help you in your endeavours. Gather round the table in the dining room or carry your plates out into the sunshine. A family shower room and one of your twin bedrooms is also downstairs. This room has a TV and a DVD player in it to help keep the youngsters entertained. The second twin bedroom, which has an en-suite WC, is on the floor above, together with the double bedroom. This has the luxury of an en-suite shower room.

Lose yourselves in your magnificent surroundings as you savour the sea air out in the garden. Pour yourselves a sundowner, take in the open landscape and chat around the outside table as the stars appear in the clear night skies. There is off-road parking here for three cars.
