Lymington’s popular Georgian High Street, where you will find a selection of restaurants, pubs, café’s and independent shops, is a 20-minute walk away by coastal path or by the country lanes. The Saturday Charter Market is well-worth a visit, with an array of stalls lining the main street. From the cottage walk or cycle along the sea wall, which borders The Solent and the Lymington and Keyhaven Nature Reserve. The famous open-air Lymington Seawater Baths are nearby, a place for all the family to enjoy, with inflatable obstacle course, paddle board hire and saltwater swimming on offer. You can take the ferry to Yarmouth on the Isle of Wight from Lymington Pier, a short drive away or one stop on the train from Lymington town station. The New Forest National Park is within a ten-minute drive, with miles of heathland to explore on foot or bicycle amongst the free-roaming ponies, cows and donkeys.
