An inviting hallway with a striking tiled floor leads to the spacious and sophisticated kitchen/diner with chic worktops, ample storage, a central island and a sociable dining table. Exploring the ground floor further, the cosy lounge has a roaring wood burner alongside a TV, ample seating and a big bay window. The ground floor also has a cheery snug ideal for younger guests. There are five warmly decorated bedrooms across the first and second floors: two super-king-size rooms, a twin and a king-size. The accommodation also offers a refreshing bathroom and two shower rooms. Outside, the generous back garden is enclosed, with a large lawn and a furnished patio perfect for dining alfresco on a sunny afternoon. Private parking is available for two cars.

Lying at the meeting point of the Rivers Taw and Torridge, Appledore is a bustling harbour town which is home to the North Devon Maritime Museum. The popular Northam Burrows Country Park is a mile west, with a trail leading along a stunning stretch of beach down to the popular Victorian resort Westward Ho! (2 miles). Local family attractions include The Big Sheep, The Milky Way Adventure Park and the historic village of Clovelly, all within 14 miles.
