Step up to the front door and into this beautiful, semi-detached property, which is filled with light and feels fresh, contemporary and welcoming. The kitchen/diner is based around a range cooker with plenty of other facilities, including two wine coolers and an American-style fridge/freezer. Pour a coffee or serve up a meal and gather around the huge island in the centre, where there”s a dining table for four and bar seating for two. You can also snuggle on the sofas at the far end, where bi-fold doors open onto the patio and allow light to pour in. For a quiet and cosy evening, head to the lounge, where comfy seating gathers around a wood burner and a Smart TV. The three charming bedrooms are on the first floor, 2 doubles and a cosy single, along with a family shower room and a small study area. Head into the garden and you”ll find a spacious patio with outdoor furniture, the ideal space to unwind with a sundowner or an al fresco meal.

In the peaceful village of Sandsend you”ll find a sandy beach, rugged cliffs and a choice of places to eat, including a fine-dining restaurant. Iconic Whitby is just 3 miles away, a great day out in which a must-do is climbing the 199 steps to see the ruined abbey. Further trips could include Staithes, Runswick Bay and Robin Hood”s Bay, all within 8 miles.
