Try out fun water sports like paddleboarding, surfing, kayaking or pull on your hiking boots for walks along the South West Coast Path (300 metres away).

Because you're so high up, they extend for miles over the surrounding North Devon National Landscape. Tasteful coastal-themed artwork and soothing colour schemes add to the appeal. Relax with friends and in the open-plan living area, sinking into the plush sofas and perhaps switching on the TV. Cook up yummy meals in the fully equipped kitchen. To increase your chances of viewing the local wildlife, head to Ilfracombe (5 miles) and board a boat trip to Lundy Island, home to an impressive selection of sea life. Further afield, the towns of Lynton and Lynmouth (20 miles) are fab for days off – you can travel between the two on the steepest water-powered funicular railway in the world.
