West Hill Cottage is in a quiet residential area walking distance to the train station and Central Brighton. Also nearby is Seven Dials, with wine bars, pubs, delicatessens, artisan bakers, a small supermarket and cafes ranging from Thai, Portuguese, Greek and Japanese. The North Laine, with its independent shops and a wide choice of places to eat and drink is only a 5–10-minute walk away. A short stroll into town will take you to the main shopping centre, the Brighton Pavilion, Brighton Pier and the beach.
