Visit iconic Bamburgh Castle which dominates the skyline (5.5 miles) and across the causeway, a day on Holy Island's Lindisfarne is a must. Book a boat tour to the Farne Islands, a haven for sea birds, seals, and puffins in the season. Head to Craster (8.5 miles) for great seafood and a bracing walk to Dunstanbugh Castle.

The kitchen is well-equipped to cook up a family meal and has a breakfast bar with a couple of bar stools where you can sit with a drink and chat with the chef of the group.
