Less than 100 metres from the beach, it is well positioned for the Suffolk coastal town's main shopping street, with its independent shops, galleries, cafes and restaurants, as well as for exploring the picturesque Suffolk Heritage Coast.

Enter the cottage and spread out into its homely living spaces. Open the door on to the courtyard garden in the lounge in the summer months to enjoy a cool breeze as you watch your favourite boxset on the Smart TV or play games together. Head into the kitchen to prepare lunch with the delicious produce you have bought in town then make fresh coffee in the machine. Sit down to eat in the dining room, throwing open the French doors in here too on balmy days. There is also a WC downstairs and a handy office for anyone needing to do a few hours' work. The bedrooms and bathrooms are up on the first floor. These include a king-size, with an en-suite bathroom, and a twin that can also be made up as a king-size if discussed in advance. Head over to beach to buy fresh seafood from one of the shacks. Visit Snape Maltings, 6 miles away, with its concert hall, galleries and shops. From here take a boat trip along the River Alde.
